I have sent my Maestro Edge BS6 for a complaint in the ignition / vehicle key. I was informed that the key is damaged and need a replacement for which i agreed. after maintenance, the vehicle was delivered to me.
after paying him the charges, i checked the vehicle but to my surprise i was then informed that it needs battery replacement as well for which i got frustrated. Then i inquired about the single key given to me for the new one. The manager told me that now a days, the company is supplying only one key. But when i was about to reconfirm the same from other dealer, he informed that it has come with only one key and he has sent a mail for the other one. When i insisted to show the mail to satisfy myself, he denied to show the mail and he argued that it will be done like this only. If i wish, i can take the vehicle or get the new key removed by paying labour charge.
With no other option left, i asked him to remove the same and reinstall the old one. The next day i received my vehicle with old key which i got it replaced at other dealer.
On my observation, i found out that the horn was replaced with faulty one, the near light isn’t functioning and the engine torque increased.
The AVS dealer was very rude, liar and not at all professional.
I would like to see the action taken by HERO MOTOCORP on this.
