I have two cameras set up to my home re-o -link…. well i did till this year with their new updating shut a camera down has not been working since.

so guess what the fool i did. purchased a replacement camera. will it connect? not likely, will it connect too difficult for someone not technical minded.

but please think before you buy because at the end of the day it is the customer sorting out the problem. 21st century emails…. great i so love an email when your experiencing technical problems well at least you can afford to make a cup of tea or coffee or go to the toilet bake a cake or eat fish and chips in between the process off technical support reolink style chats. ooops ive just pissed myself laughing but the stress levels i need to scream.

do consider buying plenty of plonk and stress relief tablets you will need them. money well spent if you love stress and emailing moaning comment pages online

Cellular camera went off line

The product failed to connect to my router after several weeks of going through trouble shooting. When the factory Rest button failed to work, I was sure it is a faulty product and not me. Wasted many hours of my time AND there is no after sales service phone number as in US so a definite no-go area. you cannot find a phone number to call the seller, never buy the product, as emailing is a waste of time.

User’s recommendation: If you cannot find a telephone number from this seller in UK, never buy anything as there is no proper process for customer service.

The main problem is you have no telephone number in UK with such a small population compared to US but the free telephone numbers are in US! The camera failed continually to connect to the router and after trying every trouble shouting suggested on the website, I tried to reset it to factory setting as suggested. When it failed to do that, I knew SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THE PRODUCT ITSELF, WHICH WASTED A HUGE AMOUNT OF MY TIME!!!!

User’s recommendation: If you cannot find a telephone number to call them before buying then “DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT” AS THERE IS NO AFTER SALES SERVICE OTHER THAN THE INFEMOUS EMAILING.

I have had trouble with this system is from day 1! I have never been able to view my system from outside my home, even connected to WIFI, I cannot delete any old recordings – thus my NVR will always be full, I could never get alerts on my phone or e-mail notices. I have e-mailed the company many times and all they do is send a link to a dozen web pages on “How-to’s” Then they charge you to get tech support. I am looking to throw this system in the trash buy a system with customer support in real time.

Called customer service asking to do a password reset due to the fact that I didn’t remember my password and wished to add 2 new cameras to my existing system. Customer service can continue to tell me that I had to pay them to reset my password, word. So I asked to talk to customer service, the guy actually cussed me out in Chinese, hung up on me and then start calling me from another number harassing me in Chinese.

User’s recommendation: Don’t buy the product if they’re going to treat you like this.

All was well until recently when my Spectrum modem failed and had to be replaced. Camera would not connect to wifi automatically. Performed factory reset and went through the app set up, still no connection. Called Reolink customer service and they want to charge me $50 to talk to a tech. It’s a $100 camera that’s a couple of years old! I’m not willing to pay that much. Decent camera, decent app, not impressed with the customer service. Guess I’ll start looking for another product with better technical support.

Camera does not work in order to talk to a reolink tech to troubleshoot to get it replaced they want a one time $49 fee A new camera cost $49 so tell me again why I should pay that. Why don’t you stand by your products. O will definitely not be doing business with you in the future. A $fee for tech support…..get bent
