It’s happening to us all….Go to the kia corporation site. File the complaint and upload your pictures.

Someone will contact you.

I did and I was told to send in 2 estimate to have the car painted. I did that and about 40 days later was sent paperwork to sign and sent a check for the amount in the paperwork.

Reimbursement

It has been over a month waiting for reimbursement for rental car I had to pay for due to your faulty engine, it took 3 weeks just to diagnose my Kia and I got a new engine but it was a month before they finished my car. I sent in receipts and Im going to get evicted because I am behind on rent

Engine failure

My engine failed after 120,000 miles, I contacted Kia about several recalls on the engine and they refused to help me. I now am told I need to purchase a new engine for $5,000 plus labor and I still owe $4,000 on this car.

Customer Assistance was last on their list

I had an issue with a dealership in Orland Park, IL not honoring their work under warranty, so I started a case with Kia Customer Assistance for help. They kept lying to me every day for ta month that “your case is being escalated, and we just need someone to approve it.” My car sat at that dealership for over a month to the point I couldn’t wait any longer. They never called me back or closed the case after two months. They created more of a problem, then assist. I’ve had two Kias prior and will never buy another after being treated like this.

User’s recommendation: Do not expect any help from Kia Customer Assistance. They will treat you worse than the worst used car dealership.

2019 sorento will not start repeatedly

2019 sorento has been dead/ would not start on 10 seperate occasions. We have been told that there is nothing that can be done, unless it is actively malfunctioning. Service manager told us when it does, to have it towed directly to shop, and they would get it in immediately to diagnose. Car has been towed, and now we are being told, that they cant even get it in to diagnose, and we are without a car, until they can get to it.

User’s recommendation: Do not buy a 2019 kia sorento, due to electrical issues.

Engine problem

I had my daughter’s car towed to the kia dealership over 2 weeks ago. I was finally told that the engine was locked and that they still have to run more test. I was told that if approved to be fixed under the warranty that it would be about 2 to 4 months. I asked for a loaner car and was told that none was available.

Deceptive pricing

How does Kia get away with lease and purchase offers for the telluride and link from their corporate site to the dealerships in CA that want to charge you 15k over msrp. Surely this is deceptive advertising.

Buy back my car

Recall

I will begin by saying Kia makes an excellent vehicle. However, when my wife took our car to Keifer Kia in Eugene, Oregon for a Recall repair, the service people attempted to rip us off, saying the car needed extensive service work which would have cost close to $1000.00 dollars. The car had been recently serviced and had a major tune-up. To top it off, we made an appointment months ago when we received the recall notice and Keifer Kia of Eugene, Oregon didn’t even have the recalled part in stock. It’s a damn shame this Keifer bunch still has a franchise. You folks at Kia, who sell quality products, should get shuck of this rip-off artists in Eugene, Oregon recall

User’s recommendation: Kia is a great car; just don’t buy or service your car in Eugene, Oregon until Kia Motors get a new Franchisee.
